Washington left me with very good impressions. The state is absolutely beautiful, the nature is amazing, and I’m really glad I went. However, in my opinion, the tour itself was not fully organized in the best way
I think it would have been much better to book two houses in different parts of the route. That way, we wouldn’t have had to spend three hours or more driving so often. Personally, I would never plan a trip where I had to drive that much every day. With two houses, the route would have been much easier and more comfortable
I was also disappointed with the situation in Forks. Last year, the girls were able to stop there, but this year we were given only about 10 minutes, and even that happened only after we asked several times. This was especially important to me because Forks was one of the reasons I specifically chose the Washington trip
Another issue was the accommodation. I was placed in a room without doors, right above the common area, so it was difficult to rest properly. I was told I would receive a partial refund because of this, but during all six days of the trip, I never received it
Unfortunately, I also didn’t really connect with most of the group. From the moment I arrived at the airport, I had a feeling that we probably wouldn’t have much in common. I only felt truly comfortable with about five or six girls. In comparison, I had a very different experience during the California road trip in June. I really loved that trip, and I’m still in touch with some of the girls from that group
At the same time, I really want to say thank you for the driving. Everything felt safe and responsible. We were always asked if we were okay, we were taken care of, and the food was very good. I really appreciated that
Overall, I had a great impression of Washington itself, but I do think there are several things in the organization that could be improved to make the trip more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone
